Implementation guide
RADIUS Billing Software for Internet Service Providers
RADIUS billing software does not charge inside the protocol. It connects a commercial subscriber lifecycle to the AAA policy used by routers and other network access servers.
Use the interface and documentation together.
The capture below shows the related ISPbills product area. Follow the linked documentation for current fields and prerequisites, then validate the exact device, provider, software version, failure path and rollback before production use.
Plan the complete path, not one isolated setting.
Connect RADIUS AAA and session accounting to recurring invoices, payment state, subscriber packages, suspension and service restoration. Confirm the exact device, software version, provider contract and failure behavior in a representative environment before production rollout.
Calculate eligibility
Use invoice, balance, due date, grace and exception state to decide whether service should remain eligible.
Publish AAA policy
Represent the approved package and account state through supported RADIUS attributes.
Reconcile access
Compare active sessions and accounting state with billing before and after customer-impacting changes.
Prove the boundaries before automating them.
Record expected results, failure signals, the person who can approve a change, and the rollback path. Product support depends on the deployed architecture and integration version.

Implementation answers
Is RADIUS billing the same as ISP billing?
No. ISP billing calculates charges and balances; RADIUS provides network AAA. A billing platform connects the two workflows.
Can RADIUS suspend an overdue subscriber?
The billing system can make the subscriber ineligible and use supported RADIUS session-control behavior to apply the change.
Can this work with MikroTik?
Yes. MikroTik can operate as a RADIUS client for compatible PPPoE and Hotspot services.
Bring the actual routers, access design, billing rules and failure cases.
