What this guide covers

Add the CNAME record to app.ispbills.com in GoDaddy DNS to connect your custom Partner domain.

On this page

Use this if you bought or manage your domain at GoDaddy. See Connect a Custom Domain for the general rule.

Steps

  1. Sign in to GoDaddy and open My Products.
  2. Find your domain and select DNS (or Manage DNS).
  3. Under Records, select Add (or Add New Record).
  4. Set the fields:
    • Type: CNAME
    • Name: your subdomain only, e.g. billing (do not type the full domain)
    • Value: app.ispbills.com
    • TTL: 1 Hour
  5. Select Save.
  6. Return to Partner → Domains, add your hostname and select Verify DNS.

In GoDaddy the Name field is only the subdomain label. Entering billing creates billing.yourbrand.com. Do not add a trailing dot and do not repeat the domain.

If your domain uses GoDaddy Forwarding or a parked page on that subdomain, remove it first — a conflicting record on the same name prevents the CNAME from resolving.
