The BTRC Report is a regulatory compliance report that ISPs operating in Bangladesh must submit to the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC). ISPbills generates this report automatically from your subscriber data, ready for export and submission.
What Is the BTRC Report?
The BTRC is the government body that regulates telecommunications in Bangladesh. Licensed ISPs are required to periodically report their subscriber base and service details to BTRC as part of their licensing obligations.
The ISPbills BTRC Report compiles your subscriber data into a spreadsheet, with one row per subscriber, ready to complete and submit.
What Data the Report Contains
The report has one row per subscriber. Each row includes the following columns, taken from the customer’s record:

How to Generate the Report
- Navigate to Customers > BTRC Report in the left sidebar.
- Select the operator whose subscribers you want to export — you can choose yourself (the Group Admin) or one of your operators.
- Submit the form.
ISPbills immediately streams a CSV file (btrc_report.csv) containing one row for every subscriber under the selected operator. There is no reporting-period selector and no on-screen summary — the export reflects the selected operator’s current subscriber base.
Working With the File
The report is delivered as a single CSV file. Open it in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet tool, review the data, and complete any additional columns the current BTRC template requires before submitting.
When ISPs Need to Submit
BTRC reporting requirements are set by the regulator and may change. As of current guidelines:

Confirm the current submission schedule and templates through BTRC’s official licensing channel or the government directory, and check your ISP licence conditions. Government URLs and forms can change, so do not rely on a saved deep link without verifying it.
Data Accuracy
The accuracy of the BTRC report depends on complete and correct customer data in ISPbills:
- Ensure every customer has a full name, mobile number, email, and complete address (house, road, thana, district) recorded.
- Set each customer’s client type, connection type, and connectivity type, and confirm the package and allocated IP are correct.
- Assign customers to the correct zone — it feeds both the distribution location point and area columns.
- Every customer must have a package assigned; a subscriber without a package will stop the export.
Incomplete customer profiles will result in missing data fields in the BTRC report and may require manual correction before submission.
