ISPbills Maps combines logical network topology, field infrastructure, service assurance, and expansion planning. Open Insights → Maps from the admin sidebar.
Available workspaces
| Workspace | Primary use |
|---|---|
| Auto Network Map | Automatically view Router → OLT → ONU → Customer relationships |
| Custom Map Editor | Manually document assets and physical links |
| Network Operations | Locate outages, offline subscribers, and optical alarms |
| Network & Outside Plant | Maintain the geographic network inventory |
| Planning & Serviceability | Evaluate demand, coverage, and expansion candidates |
Before you begin
Woosmap is the default map provider. The shared platform key is available for seven days from the first time anyone in the group opens GIS. Before the trial ends, a Group Admin must save the group’s own Woosmap public and private keys or explicitly switch the provider to Google Maps in Settings → App Settings → GIS Map Provider.
The Auto Network Map does not need geographic coordinates because it uses configured device and customer assignments. Geographic workspaces require valid latitude and longitude values for useful results.
The application sidebar automatically collapses on Map pages to provide more working space. Use the normal sidebar toggle to expand it.
Configure the map provider
Only the Group Admin needs to complete this setup.
- Open Settings → App Settings and locate GIS Map Provider.
- Leave Woosmap (default) selected to use the shared seven-day trial.
- In Woosmap Console, create an organization project and keys before the trial expires.
- Restrict the public key to your portal domains. Keep the private key secret and use it only in the server-side field.
- Save both Woosmap public key and Woosmap private key, then reload Insights → Maps.
- To use Google instead, select Google Maps, enable the Maps JavaScript API and Geocoding API in Google Cloud Console, restrict the key to your portal domains, and save it in Google Maps API key.
- Set Default latitude, Default longitude, and Default zoom to the service area that should appear when a map has no plotted records.
The trial begins on first GIS use and is shared by everyone in the group. It does not renew after seven days. Each group must use its own provider credentials after that point.

Data preparation checklist
For useful maps, complete these records first:
- Assign every OLT to its correct NAS/Core Router.
- Synchronize ONUs and confirm every ONU belongs to the correct OLT.
- Assign customer ONUs where fibre service is used; otherwise confirm the customer router.
- Add accurate coordinates to customers, routers, OLTs, and field devices.
- Configure operator locations and service territories where applicable.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Cause and action |
|---|---|
| Map is blank | Confirm the selected provider, the matching group key, domain restrictions and provider account status. |
| Shared Woosmap trial ended | Save the group’s own Woosmap public and private keys, or switch to Google Maps and save a Google key. |
| Map opens in the wrong place or at the wrong scale | Save the service-area latitude, longitude and zoom in Settings → App Settings → GIS Map Provider. |
| Equipment appears at one location | Those records lack coordinates and are using a parent/group fallback. Add real coordinates. |
| Data belongs to another operator | Verify the logged-in role and the record’s operator assignment. Map APIs enforce tenant/operator scope. |
| Recent changes are missing | Select Refresh or reload after changing Router, OLT, ONU, or Customer assignments. |
