Overview

The NOC (Network Operations Center) Panel is a dedicated workspace within ISPbills designed for network operations staff. It provides a self-contained environment at /admin/noc/ where NOC users can monitor infrastructure, manage network devices, and troubleshoot customer connections — all without exposure to financial or billing data.

The NOC Panel combines the NOC Dashboard, NOC Role & Permissions, and device management into a unified operations interface. Device terminal sessions — including the iPilot AI assistant — are also available from the NOC toolbar.

Key Capabilities

Area What NOC Users Can Do
Dashboard Real-time network health overview with auto-refresh every 30 seconds
Router Management View, add, edit, and delete MikroTik routers (permission-based)
OLT / ONU Management Manage fiber headend equipment, sync ONUs, view running configs
IP Pool Management Manage IPv4 and IPv6 address pools

What NOC Users Cannot Access

The NOC Panel enforces strict financial isolation. NOC users have zero visibility into:

  • Billing, invoices, and payment history
  • Package management, package assignment, and pricing
  • Revenue widgets, Cash In / Cash Out charts
  • Financial reports (only inventory reports are exposed)
  • Creating, editing, suspending, or deleting operators/resellers (the Operators list is view-only)

NOC users can be granted network-facing customer permissions — create-customer, edit-customer, disconnect-customer, remove-mac-bind, and send-sms — and can access PPP/PPPoE profiles (view via view-ip-pools, add/edit via edit-ip-pools; delete stays group-admin only). Even so, no billing, payment, package, or pricing data is ever shown on the customer record.

Accessing the NOC Panel

NOC users log in at the standard login page. After authentication, they are redirected to the NOC Dashboard at /admin/noc/dashboard. The sidebar shows only the sections their permissions allow.

Group admins access the NOC user management area from the Staff → NOC tab in their own sidebar.

NOC Panel Navigation

The NOC sidebar is organized into the following sections. Dashboard, Operators, Reports, Status Checks, Terminal, Logs, Support Tickets, DDoS Protection, Zabbix, and Security are always shown; the network and customer sections appear only when the matching permission is granted:

  1. Dashboard — Network Operations Command Center
  2. Operators — Read-only operator list and detail view
  3. Customers (search-customers) — All Customers, Online Customers, Import Customers, Import from Excel
  4. Monitoring (view-monitoring) — Ubiquiti, MikroTik, and Cambium device monitoring, plus OLT/ONU, Network Topology, and Managed Switches
  5. Reports — Inventory reports (Mikrotik, OLT, ONU, Other)
  6. Status Checks — Uptime/status monitoring
  7. Network (view-routers or view-ip-pools) — Routers, IPv4/IPv6 Pools, PPP/Profiles, Equipment Auth
  8. Terminal — Browser SSH/Telnet terminal with iPilot AI
  9. Logs — Router logs, OLT logs, RADIUS/PPP auth logs
  10. Support Tickets — Complaints, archived complaints, reports
  11. DDoS Protection — Attack monitoring and mitigation
  12. Zabbix — Zabbix Monitor and Servers
  13. Security — Account security, device verification, activity and authentication logs

URL Namespace

All NOC routes live under /admin/noc/ to avoid collisions with group admin routes:

Feature URL Pattern
Dashboard /admin/noc/dashboard
Routers /admin/noc/routers
OLTs /admin/noc/olts
ONUs /admin/noc/onus
IPv4 Pools /admin/noc/ipv4pools
IPv6 Pools /admin/noc/ipv6pools
Switches /admin/noc/switches
Logs /admin/noc/logs/*

Access and Security

NOC pages require a signed-in, verified account with the NOC role and appropriate permissions. Subscription and two-factor authentication requirements also apply where enabled.
