SMS Broadcast Jobs let you send the same message to a filtered group of customers in one operation. You define the audience with a few filters, review how many customers match, then run the job — the messages are dispatched in the background.
Creating a Broadcast Job
Navigate to SMS & Notifications → SMS Broadcast and open the new broadcast form. It has the following fields:

The audience is every customer that matches the selected connection type, status, and (if chosen) payment status.
The broadcast message is sent exactly as typed — there is no per-customer personalisation. Placeholders such as a customer’s name or balance are not substituted in a broadcast, so write the message so it reads correctly for everyone in the group.
Reviewing and Running
After you save the form, ISPbills creates the job and shows a review screen with the matched recipient count so you can confirm the audience before sending anything.
- Run the job to dispatch it. The messages are queued and delivered in the background; the job is removed once processing completes.
- Cancel removes the job without sending.
There is no built-in scheduling — a broadcast runs when you choose to run it, not at a future date/time.
Notes
- SMS credits are deducted as the job is processed, not when it is created. Ensure your balance covers the recipient count shown on the review screen.
- Delivery of each message is recorded in SMS History, where you can check per-message status.
- Very large audiences may take several minutes to process fully after you start the job.
- The SMS gateway must be configured and active under Settings → SMS Gateway.
