Apply bulk bill actions, bind MAC addresses from online sessions, and update customer fields by Excel

On this page

ISPbills provides several bulk controls in the page where their source data is available. The current MAC-binding workflow uses selected live RADIUS sessions; it does not upload customer/MAC pairs. The current spreadsheet workflow directly applies supported field changes by customer ID; it does not show a change preview.

Bulk bill actions

  1. Open the customer-bills list and filter or search for the intended invoices.
  2. Select the invoice rows.
  3. Under Apply, choose Paid or an available delete/regenerate action. Delete options require the relevant invoice permission.
  4. Submit, review the invoice count, customer amount, upstream amount, and remaining balance, then select Confirm Payment when processing a payment.

Payment processing is queued. Confirm that money was received and that the selected invoices belong to the intended billing period before submitting.

MAC binding from online sessions

  1. Open Customers → Online and refresh the live-session list.
  2. Select one or more current sessions. The selection uses RADIUS accounting record IDs and must still be online when submitted.
  3. Choose MAC Bind under Apply, then submit.
  4. ISPbills binds each selected customer to that session’s Calling-Station-ID (MAC address).

The server rejects stale sessions or sessions outside the signed-in account. Verify that the displayed username and session belong to the physical device before binding. Use the customer’s individual action to replace or remove a binding later.

Direct customer update by Excel

This workflow is available to Group Admin, Operator, and Sub-Operator roles where their customer permissions allow it.

  1. Open Customers → All Customers and select Bulk update.
  2. Select Download Excel file, choose any filters and editable fields, and download edit_customer_info.xlsx.
  3. Edit only supported columns. Do not change the id, username, or header row.
  4. Return to Bulk update, upload the edited file, and select Submit.

The id column is required and identifies the record. Supported editable columns are name, mobile, email, house_no, road_no, thana, district, type_of_client, type_of_connection, and type_of_connectivity. The upload updates authorized rows directly; there is no preview, package/status update, or audit-log promise in this workflow. Keep an unchanged copy of the downloaded file and test a small batch first.
